We offer support to survivors of sexual abuse and assault through ACC Sensitive Claims services.
Through ACC’s Psychological Services contract, we are further able to provide support to people who experience difficulties with their mental health following physical injury, treatment injury or workplace accidents.
Some of our clinicians also accept private referrals.
Our clinicians are trained to support with many types of difficulties and concerns.
Our fundamental approach is to help clients understand themselves better and find their own path to solve their difficulties. Personal empowerment, autonomy and independence are paramount as therapy aims to offer an opportunity for growth and transformation.
Support can be short or long term, depending on individual needs. Telehealth sessions are also available (via Zoom or telephone).
Interventions are tailored to meet individual needs, drawing on a wide range of evidence-based modalities and models. Please see our clinician’s portfolios for further information on modalities used
We are holistic in our approach, taking into consideration a person’s whole life context and culture. We value the importance of Te Tiriti o Waitangi / the Treaty of Waitangi and are committed to improve access, experience and outcomes for Māori.
